Help people injured in Gaza walk again. With The Akhirah Project, we are raising funds for prosthetic limbs, fitted in Egypt, for those who lost a limb in the war.
Hayat Humanitarian Aid is working with our partners The Akhirah Project (Luton) to provide prosthetic limbs for people injured in Gaza who are being treated in Egypt and have lost a limb in the war.
Losing a limb can take away a person’s ability to work, to care for their family and to move around independently. A well-fitted prosthetic limb gives that back: mobility, independence and a better quality of life.
Where your donation goes
- Every penny raised on this page goes towards prosthetic limbs for injured people from Gaza, treated in Egypt.
- The limbs are made and fitted by our receiving partner in Egypt, Orthomatic International Group.
- We expect the project to be carried out within four weeks of the funds being transferred.
Our work in Egypt so far
During our deployment in Egypt, The Akhirah Project has supported vulnerable families with rent assistance, food parcels, hot meals and help with prosthetic limbs. This appeal builds on that work.
Please give what you can and share this page with your family and friends. Jazakum Allahu khairan.
